Hi! I'm Desiree, a Peruvian Product Designer currently living in San Francisco.
After completing my degree in Communications and Advertising, I joined the Growth Marketing team at Kurios, an EdTech startup backed by Y Combinator. Working at an early-stage company requires wearing many hats, operating with limited resources, and being creative to find solutions for big problems - a great combo to learn new disciplines!
At Kurios, I was tasked with re-branding the company and re-designing the website and internal assets, sparking my interest in becoming a product designer.
Today, I design with the aim of creating lean and simple user-centric experiences to solve real problems centered on business and user needs.
About me
Outside work, I love connecting with nature through hikes, walks on the beach, or going snowboarding. Everywhere, you'll see me taking photos with my phone or camera. I enjoy the simple things in life like going to a cozy cafe, working out, or having a good get-together with friends.
